Short Promo Videos

Powerful video promos

In this post, we provide some examples of short promo videos. I love the challenge of taking a message, theme, or business USP and presenting it in a minute (or less).

We know that people have short attention spans, so we have to excite them quickly and get them to give us a minute of their busy lives. But, of course, it helps if viewers see that it's only a minute, as we all grimace when we find a YouTube video that’s about 20 minutes!

It’s amazing how much can be achieved in that short donation. As a producer I need to ensure the film has a strong focus, with a story and theme that will not only keep viewers watching, but make them want to follow-up to the call to action.

Brand videos

The example above is for Thom & Tea, a tea brand; we created this video to capture the brand's essence. Meanwhile, below you can see a 60-second video for Andrew Gray Fuels of Kilmarnock, with the company described and shown as part of a 'day in the life of one of their drivers.

Campaign Videos

For Sir Walter Scott Steamship at Loch Katrine we needed an appeal video to clearly articulate the scale and importance of their Save our Steamship appeal.

Demonstration Videos

As well as tell you can show incredibly effectively using video, BUBL Bags is an excellent example of this. We even threw an iPhone out of a first-floor video as part of this; great fun!
