It’s been a pleasure to work once again with the team at Business Gateway Falkirk, this time producing a second series of customer testimonial videos designed to promote the practical support available to local businesses.
Over the years, I’ve worked closely with the Falkirk team, delivering Expert Help projects and marketing support to businesses across the area. I was delighted to be asked to create two testimonial video series that clearly demonstrate the real-world impact of Business Gateway services.
Telling real business stories through video
The most recent series, completed in 2025, focused on four local businesses. Each short film featured interviews with both the business owner and their Business Gateway advisor, clearly showing:
the challenges the business faced
the support provided
the positive outcomes achieved
The aim was to present Business Gateway support in a clear, relatable, and credible way, using real voices and real experiences rather than solely promotional messaging.
Designed for flexibility and reach
Each testimonial video was carefully planned to work across multiple platforms:
60-second core films for websites and presentations
Captioned for accessibility and silent viewing
20-second cut-downs optimised for social media
The series concluded with a compilation film introduced by Carron Smith, Principal Officer at Business Gateway Falkirk, which brought the stories together and reinforced the breadth of support available.
Promoting accessible business support
The finished videos highlight how Business Gateway Falkirk supports businesses through access to experienced advisors, practical workshops and tailored one-to-one guidance. Testimonial-led video content like this is particularly effective at building trust and encouraging engagement, as it allows other businesses to see themselves reflected in the stories being told.
