Whitemoss Lodge

Whitemoss Lodge offers a peaceful escape in the heart of the Perthshire countryside, with five luxury Eco Pods. I was commissioned by the new owners to design a website that truly captured the essence of the guest experience.

As I do with every new project, I began by reviewing guest feedback. I was struck not only by the consistently high ratings but also by the warmth of the comments—guests spoke highly of both the quality of the accommodation and the service. This insight helped shape the website content, ensuring it reflected what guests value most.

During the photography sessions, it was clear how well-maintained and thoughtfully equipped the lodges are. I created a full suite of images showcasing the interiors, hot tubs, and grounds—highlighting the details that inspire confidence and drive direct bookings. I also captured video content, including drone footage, for use on the website’s homepage and across digital platforms.

To enrich the visitor experience online, I visited local shops, pubs, and attractions, gathering photographs and details to feature on the site and help guests plan their stay.

The business runs on solar panel and has strong green-credentials I was sure to capture and use photography to show these strengths.

An innovative BBQ hut is also available for hire at Whitemoss Lodge. I created an integrated booking and payment system for this, along with options for pre-ordering luxuries and add-ons—providing the owners with an additional revenue stream.

As part of the handover, I delivered a website training session and supplied a library of photographs for use across social media and marketing materials.
