Lodge on Loch Lomond, Luss
I share some of my favourite photographs from various assignments in Central Scotland and Loch Lomond & The Trossachs in this article. I hope you like them, they are typical of my work, although no two jobs are the same!
Business Premises Photography
A commission from the company in England that supplied screens for Loch Lomond's panoramic restaurant windows to photograph them once fitted. They wanted to show how they did the job without spoiling the incredible views of Loch Lomond.

I have a massive library of scenic photography for Loch Lomond & Trossachs and the Scottish Highlands, and I photograph tourism pictures like this for many Loch Lomond businesses. I also have a website - See Loch Lomond, full of views of Loch Lomond. I love climbing hills, jumping on boats and discovering new views to get tourism and destination photographs.
Woodland Light Experience

Quite often, a photo needs setting up to use for promotional material. For example, above, you can see a picture of the Woodland Light Experience at Balfron Station in Stirlingshire. We needed to set this up in summer for a winter event for pre-promotion; it was nearly midnight before being dark enough to capture this photograph.

Capturing events like the one above is great fun. Pictured are actors portraying Queen Victoria and Prince Albert to celebrate the 160th anniversary of the royal visit to Loch Katrine.

I label the above photograph as a storytelling image as it tells a story and shows people at work. Photography like this is good for news releases, websites and social media. The photograph features Neighbour Food setting up their market at Killin, and Forth Environment Link commissioned it.
