Volunteer Tutors Organisation

Volunteer Tutors Organisation (VTO) is a long-established Glasgow-based charity providing vital one-to-one educational support to children and young people across Scotland’s Central Belt. By recruiting, training, and supporting volunteer tutors, VTO helps pupils who are facing challenges in their learning to build confidence and reach their potential.

I’ve been proud to work closely with the team at VTO on a series of creative projects that bring their work to life and help communicate their impact. This has included producing a number of video case studies that highlight the different ways the charity supports young people—through personalised tutoring, community learning hubs, and corporate engagement initiatives. The films are now being used to engage funders, attract volunteers, and demonstrate value to stakeholders, and they’ve already contributed to securing additional grant funding.

Alongside the video content, I was also commissioned to photograph VTO’s 50th anniversary celebration—capturing an important milestone in the charity’s journey and honouring the people who have shaped its success. More recently, I’ve begun work on a new round of video production to continue documenting the charity’s evolving services and growing reach, and I will share some examples of that work as soon as I can.

VTO Client Testimonial

Paul worked with our team, volunteers, partners, young people and their families to create short films showcasing some of the great work we do. He is a joy to work with putting everyone at ease. The films were a huge success and well received by existing partners and new partners who have been impressed by the professionalism of our organisation. We wouldn’t hesitate in working with Paul again.

Marketing is essential for charities looking to raise awareness, build partnerships, and demonstrate the difference they make. I love working with organisations like VTO to help tell their stories through video, photography, and digital content that connects with the audiences that matter most. I’m always happy to offer discounted services to Scottish charities as part of my commitment to supporting the third sector.

If you’d like to explore how video and visual storytelling could support your charity or community organisation, I’d love to chat.
