Cruise Loch Lomond
Cruise Loch Lomond operates a fleet of vessels offering scenic cruises and waterbus services across Loch Lomond, connecting some of the most beautiful and remote parts of the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. I’ve had the pleasure of working closely with the team for many years, providing photography, video, and promotional content that help showcase what they offer to a global audience.
The work has aimed to visually communicate the scale, setting and variety of Cruise Loch Lomond’s services, helping potential visitors quickly understand the experience on offer — from short sightseeing cruises to longer journeys linking walking, cycling and island exploration.
From travel trade brochures to social media campaigns, my photography and video footage have played a key role in raising awareness of the business and highlighting the range of cruise experiences available. These include nature-rich island landings, one-way journeys paired with return walks or cycles, and longer scenic cruises that immerse visitors in the landscape.
Drone filming has been particularly effective in demonstrating the scale of the fleet and the dramatic setting in which the vessels operate. One of the most striking images we captured shows the entire fleet lined up across one of the widest points of Loch Lomond — a photograph that has since become an iconic part of their marketing.
Client Testimonial
“Paul has consistently produced quality material that has been used in marketing campaigns to promote the company to travel trade clients, day-trippers and holidaymakers.”
I’ve also produced a series of promotional films, each tailored to a specific cruise or audience. These include the Rob Roy Discovery Cruise, which links heritage storytelling with landscape, and a short film supporting Cruise Loch Lomond’s involvement in the Blue Health initiative, promoting the wellbeing benefits of time spent on or near water. Short-form video clips were also created for social platforms and international travel markets, helping the business reach new audiences across multiple channels.
Our ongoing collaboration has extended to additional promotion through See Loch Lomond, where Cruise Loch Lomond’s services have been featured to a wider visitor audience. With a strong bank of photography and video now in place, the team has a flexible asset library that continues to support web, social, trade and print marketing.
It’s been a pleasure supporting Cruise Loch Lomond in telling their story and promoting their routes, scenery and unique selling points to a growing customer base. If you’re a tourism business looking to build your brand through high-impact visual content, I’d be delighted to hear from you.
