Falkirk Distillery

Falkirk Distillery is a family-run business with a bold vision: to create a new Lowland single malt Scotch whisky and a visitor experience that celebrates tradition, innovation and local pride in Central Scotland.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with the founding team over several years, providing marketing consultancy, website design and digital content as the distillery has taken shape from concept to reality.

Website design and digital foundations

A key part of my role has been designing and launching the Falkirk Distillery website, which is essential for building awareness while the public visitor centre is still under construction.

The website includes:

• an e-commerce shop

• a secure VIP investor area

• space to share project updates and news

• clear storytelling around the distillery’s vision and progress

The site allows the team to communicate consistently with supporters, investors and future visitors, while also laying strong foundations for search visibility and future marketing as the distillery moves towards opening.

Drone video and visual storytelling

Alongside the website, I’ve produced a series of drone and promotional videos to document the distillery’s build and development.

These films capture:

• the exterior of the distillery as it takes shape

• interior fit-out and progress over time

• the scale and setting of the site just outside Falkirk

The videos have been used across the website, social media and stakeholder communications, giving people a behind-the-scenes look at a modern distillery being built from the ground up.

Client Testimonial

Paul Saunders provided a fresh outlook to the promotion of our distillery. I couldn’t recommend him more highly.

Supporting a growing Scottish drinks brand

It’s been inspiring to work alongside the founding family and their expanding team, who have shown a real commitment to quality, transparency and long-term brand building.

From early-stage marketing strategy and investor communication to preparing for a future visitor experience, Falkirk Distillery is a strong example of how Scottish food and drink brands can build momentum well before opening their doors.

I’ve worked with many food and drink businesses across Scotland, and it’s been a pleasure supporting such an ambitious, locally rooted project here in Central Scotland.

If you’re developing a new drinks brand, distillery or visitor experience, I’d be happy to talk through how I can support your marketing journey.
