Fraser C Robb is a successful family-run business based in Drymen, serving domestic and commercial customers with a wide range of ground care and garden equipment—from lawnmowers and chainsaws to ride-on mowers and specialist machinery. I’ve enjoyed working with them for over a decade, providing an ongoing range of marketing services that make me part of their extended team.
I began working with Fraser C Robb shortly before their 40th anniversary, and since then have been involved in almost every aspect of their communications—from day-to-day promotions to major milestones like the recent celebration of their 50th anniversary (see video below). Over the years, I’ve produced company videos, filmed product demonstrations, managed seasonal promotions, and supported their growing online presence. Their YouTube channel alone has now notched up over 1 million views, with video playing a key role in driving product enquiries and sales.
In addition to marketing the main business, I’ve supported launching and promoting Drymen Business Hub, a facility developed by Fraser C Robb to support local enterprises. I helped prepare the initial business plan and secured £75,000 in grant funding to get the project off the ground. I also created a website for the Hub and continue to provide PR, social media, and video support to raise awareness and bring new users through the door. The Hub offers meeting rooms, desks, and event space. It has become a valued resource for the rural business community, hosting everything from networking events to Business Gateway start-up clinics.
